🥃 Howdy Taipei Drammers! 🥃

With March in the rear view mirror, it’s time now to look out towards our April event — and boy, do we have a special one! On April 18th, our event will be sponsored by the good folks at Hunter Laing and Sun Favorite! That’s right – during A Night of Firsts, we are going to be sampling fine whiskies from both First Editions and Ardnahoe!

The First Editions range of single barrel expressions is always released at natural cask strength, and of course without colouring or chill filtration. Ardnahoe is Hunter Laing’s very first distillery, and is already making huge waves in the world of Scotch whisky.

At this exclusive event, you will have a chance to sample the following expressions:

1. First Editions – 1997 Hector Macbeth 21YO 54.6% HL15027 Refill Hogshead
2. First Editions – 2007 Speyburn 16YO 54.9% HL20323 Refill Sherry Butt
3. Ardnahoe – Inaugural Release 5YO 50%
4. Ardnahoe – Cask Strength 5YO 60.9% Batch No.1

In addition to these, we will also have a Mystery Dram prepared for everyone to try and guess for some incredible prizes!

Once again, we will be convening at The 18 Whisky & Cigar Lounge for this tasting. As one of the premier places in Taipei for whisky and cigars, it promises to be an incredible evening at an incredible venue. The cover charge for this event will be only $500 NTD, and this includes one free drink made by Gwhisky Geoff!

After the official tasting, we will begin our 3K Drammers Time BYOB portion of the evening. To participate, you’ll need to bring a bottle with a minimum cost of $3,000 NTD. As always, you can bring bottles that are already open, but please make sure there is at least half the bottle left so that everyone can give it a try.

This event is organized by the Taipei Chapter of Dram Alliance – an international whisky group that features chapters in multiple cities across the globe. We hope that this is the first of many gatherings in Taipei where passionate whisky enthusiasts of all experience levels can gather together, share some drams, and discuss this wonderful hobby!

隨著三月正式畫下句點，是時候把目光轉向我們的四月活動了——而且這次真的非常特別！4 月 18 日的活動將由 Hunter Laing 與 山富貿易股份有限公司 鼎力贊助！沒錯，在《A Night of Firsts》這場活動中，我們將一次品嚐來自 First Editions 與 Ardnahoe 的精彩威士忌！

First Editions 系列的單桶酒款一向以原桶強度裝瓶，且不經著色與冷凝過濾，保留最純粹的風味。而 Ardnahoe 則是 Hunter Laing 旗下的首座酒廠，雖然年輕，卻已在蘇格蘭威士忌界掀起不小話題。

在這場專屬品飲活動中，大家將有機會品嚐以下酒款：

本次活動同樣將在 The 18 Whisky & Cigar Lounge 舉行。作為台北頂級的威士忌與雪茄據點之一，這裡絕對能為大家帶來難忘的品飲體驗。本次活動入場費僅需 500 元新台幣，並包含一杯由 Gwhisky Geoff 特製的迎賓飲品！

在正式品飲結束後，我們將進入 3K Drammers Time 的 BYOB（自帶酒款）環節。參加者需攜帶一瓶市價至少 3,000 元新台幣的酒款。當然，已開瓶的酒也歡迎帶來，但請確保至少還有半瓶以上，讓大家都能一起分享品嚐。

本活動由 Dram Alliance 台北分會主辦——這是一個在全球多個城市設有據點的國際威士忌社群。我們希望這將成為台北眾多聚會的起點，讓各種程度的威士忌愛好者都能齊聚一堂，分享酒款、交流心得，一同享受這項迷人的嗜好！
