🇹🇼 Independents Day – August 2026
Howdy Drammers!
We’re fully into the month of August, which means it’s time to announce our August event. On August 22, Keeper Lester is coming back to town, and will be hosting our very first Independents Day – a celebration of independent bottlers!
This time, we’ve got a great variety of well-aged scotches from different regions and cask maturations from various independent bottlers around the world. Here’s the official lineup:
- 2001 Linkwood 22Y Aqua Vitae x Shinanoya
- 2009 Clynelish First Editions Or Sileis 16Y
- Sansibar 1999 Secret Orkney 22Y
- BBR 2000 Speyside 17Y Cask 2355
- 2004 SMOS Ledaig 17Y
In addition to these, Lester will also prepare a Mystery Dram for everyone to try – it’s gonna be a doozy!
Our venue for this whisky event is the recently-opened TONIC. Headed by our very own Geoff Oxley (aka Gwhisky), Geoff’s new bar is the premier spot in Taipei for fizzy libations in addition to an extensive whisky selection. The cover charge for this event will be $1,200 per person, and this includes a cocktail made by Geoff himself!
After the official tasting, we will move on to the Drammers Time BYOB portion of the evening. To participate, simply bring an independently bottled whisky with a minimum cost of $2,000 NTD. As always, you can bring bottles that are already open, but please make sure there is at least half the bottle left so that everyone can give it a try.
This event is organized by the Taiwan Chapter of Dram Alliance – an international whisky group that features chapters in multiple cities across the globe. We welcome whisky fans of all experience levels to come by, try some awesome whiskies, and discuss this hobby with other Drammers!
There is room for only 20 Drammers at this event, so please RSVP as soon as you can.

八月已經正式開跑，也就是說，該公布我們八月份的活動了！8月22日，Keeper Lester 將回到台北，主持我們的第一屆 Independents Day——一場向獨立裝瓶廠致敬的品飲會！
這次我們準備了來自世界各地獨立裝瓶廠的高年份蘇格蘭威士忌，橫跨不同產區與桶型熟成，選擇相當豐富。以下是本次的官方酒單：

除了以上五款之外，Lester 還會準備一杯 神秘酒款 讓大家一起盲飲——絕對會讓你驚艷！
本次活動場地位於全新開幕的 TONIC。主理人正是我們的夥伴 Geoff Oxley（也就是 Gwhisky）。Geoff 的新酒吧是台北首屈一指的氣泡調酒聖地，同時也備有相當豐富的威士忌選擇。本次活動入場費為每人 $1,200，並包含一杯由 Geoff 親手調製的雞尾酒！
官方品飲結束後，我們將進入 Drammers Time 自帶酒（BYOB）環節。想參加的朋友，只要帶一支獨立裝瓶的威士忌，價值至少 NT$2,000 即可。一如往常，已開瓶的酒也非常歡迎，但請確保瓶中至少還有一半的酒量，好讓大家都能嚐到。
本活動由 Dram Alliance 台灣分會主辦——這是一個國際性的威士忌社群，在全球多個城市設有分會。無論你是威士忌老手還是剛入門的新朋友，我們都非常歡迎你來喝點好酒，和其他酒友一起聊聊這個興趣！
