🇹🇼 Keepers of the Cask
Howdy Drammers!
Our June event is going to be an absolute banger. On June 25th, join us at Gilley’s Garden for Keepers of the Cask, where we will explore some killer whiskies from renowned independent bottler and distiller Gordon & Macphail. This time, Geoff Oxley, Mr. Gwhisky himself, will be our host for this incredible event!
Founded in 1895, Gordon & Macphail started off as a small retail shop on Elgin South Street, they are now known as a multi-faceted international business: retailer, international trade partner, distiller, and of course, single malt maturation experts. At Keepers of the Cask, participants will be able to sample the following highly-aged scotches from their lineup:
- 1995 GM Aberfeldy 24Y
- 2000 GM Clynelish 24Y Angel’s Choice #6
- 2003 GM Glenlivet 21Y Angel’s Choice #4
- 2000 GM Mortlach 23Y
- 2001 GM Scapa 23Y Taiwan Exclusive
In addition to these, Dram Alliance’s Keeper of Taipei Chapter, Lester, will also prepare an incredible mystery dram for everyone to enjoy. While the exact bottle will be kept secret, we can say that this bottle is NOT available here in Taiwan! This is one whsky lineup you will not want to miss!
Geoff Oxley of Gwhisky fame will be taking everyone through each of the drams, bringing his signature wit and extensive knowledge of whisky. The venue for the event is Gilley’s Garden. Located in Shilin District, this restaurant has an excellent menu of entrees, and even boasts a semi-buffet. The cover charge for this tasting event is $1,400 NTD.
After the tasting (around 8:00), we will also do a Drammers Time bring-your-own-bottle event. To participate in this bottle share, simply bring a whisky with a minimum cost of $3,000 NTD to share with your fellow Drammers. As always, you can bring bottles that are already open, but please do make sure there is at least half the bottle left so that everyone can have a chance to try it.
This event is organized by the Taiwan Chapter of Dram Alliance – an international whisky group that features chapters in multiple cities across the globe. We welcome whisky fans of all experience levels to come by, try some awesome whiskies, and discuss this hobby with other Drammers!
We have room for 15 Drammers at this event. To RSVP, simply get in touch with Lester of the Taiwan Chapter on Whatsapp or LINE, where you will receive bank details to transfer your funds. The first 15 people to successfully pay for their seat will have their place reserved for this exclusive event!

六月份的活動絕對會讓你大呼過癮！6月25日，請來 天母盛鑫-中山北店 參加我們的「Keepers of the Cask」品飲之夜，一起探索來自享譽國際的獨立裝瓶商暨蒸餾廠 Gordon & Macphail 的精彩威士忌！這次，Gwhisky 的靈魂人物 Geoff Oxley 將親自擔任我們的品飲主持人，絕對不容錯過！

Gwhisky 的 Geoff Oxley 將帶領大家逐一品飲每款威士忌，以他一貫的幽默風格與深厚的威士忌知識，讓整晚充實又有趣。活動地點為 天母盛鑫-中山北店，位於士林區，這家餐廳菜色豐富，還提供半自助式餐點。本次品飲活動的入場費用為 1,400 元新台幣。
品飲結束後（約晚上8點），我們還將舉辦「Drammers Time」自帶酒瓶分享活動！想參加的朋友，只需攜帶一瓶市值至少 3,000 元新台幣 的威士忌與大家共享。一如往常，已開瓶的酒也歡迎帶來，但請確保瓶中至少還有半瓶以上，讓每位 Drammer 都有機會品嚐！
