DESCRIPTION:🥃 Howdy Taipei Drammers! 🥃 \nWith March in the rear view mirror\, it’s time now to look out towards our April event — and boy\, do we have a special one! On April 18th\, our event will be sponsored by the good folks at Hunter Laing and Sun Favorite! That’s right – during A Night of Firsts\, we are going to be sampling fine whiskies from both First Editions and Ardnahoe! \nThe First Editions range of single barrel expressions is always released at natural cask strength\, and of course without colouring or chill filtration. Ardnahoe is Hunter Laing’s very first distillery\, and is already making huge waves in the world of Scotch whisky. \nAt this exclusive event\, you will have a chance to sample the following expressions: \n\nFirst Editions – 1997 Hector Macbeth 21YO 54.6% HL15027 Refill Hogshead\nFirst Editions – 2007 Speyburn 16YO 54.9% HL20323 Refill Sherry Butt\nArdnahoe – Inaugural Release 5YO 50%\nArdnahoe – Cask Strength 5YO 60.9% Batch No.1\n\nIn addition to these\, we will also have a Mystery Dram prepared for everyone to try and guess for some incredible prizes! \nOnce again\, we will be convening at The 18 Whisky & Cigar Lounge for this tasting. As one of the premier places in Taipei for whisky and cigars\, it promises to be an incredible evening at an incredible venue. The cover charge for this event will be only $500 NTD\, and this includes one free drink made by Gwhisky Geoff! \nAfter the official tasting\, we will begin our 3K Drammers Time BYOB portion of the evening. To participate\, you’ll need to bring a bottle with a minimum cost of $3\,000 NTD. As always\, you can bring bottles that are already open\, but please make sure there is at least half the bottle left so that everyone can give it a try. \nThis event is organized by the Taipei Chapter of Dram Alliance – an international whisky group that features chapters in multiple cities across the globe.
